Refund Policy
Last updated: 9 October 2026
The TripWatch Watch Pass is a one-time digital monitoring service. We want refund handling to reflect whether the paid monitoring service has actually started and whether TripWatch was able to provide the checks purchased.
Before the first completed live check
If you request cancellation before TripWatch completes the first live Watch Pass check, the request will generally be eligible for review for a full refund, subject to applicable law and payment-processing conditions.
After monitoring has started
After one or more completed live checks have been delivered, refund requests are reviewed based on the service already provided, the reason for the request and any mandatory consumer rights that apply.
Provider failures and retries
A temporary flight or hotel data-provider failure does not consume one of your 3 completed Watch Pass checks. TripWatch may retry the same check automatically. A temporary failed attempt on its own is therefore not treated as a completed paid check.
If TripWatch cannot provide the monitoring service purchased because of a persistent technical problem, contact support so the case can be reviewed.
How to request a refund
Use the support or contact channel provided with your TripWatch account or purchase communication. Include enough information for us to identify the Watch Pass and payment without sending full payment-card details.
Payment timing and mandatory rights
Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method where supported. Bank or payment-provider processing times can vary. Nothing in this policy removes consumer cancellation, refund or statutory rights that apply to you under mandatory law.
This MVP refund policy should be reviewed against the final business entity, selling countries and consumer-law obligations before a broad public launch.
