Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9 October 2026
TripWatch uses the minimum information needed to let you save trip preferences, monitor prices, pay for a Watch Pass and receive transactional updates.
Information we process
Depending on how you use TripWatch, we may process:
- account information, such as your email address and authentication identifiers;
- saved travel preferences, including route, date window, trip duration, traveller count, flight filters and hotel preferences;
- Watch Pass status, live-check results and delivery status for transactional emails;
- payment references and payment status supplied by Stripe. TripWatch does not store your full card details;
- technical information required to operate and secure the service, such as application logs and request diagnostics.
How we use information
We use this information to provide and secure TripWatch, run the searches you request, maintain your Saved Watches, perform paid Watch Pass checks, send transactional updates, process payments and troubleshoot service problems.
Service providers
TripWatch relies on specialist providers to operate the service. These currently include Supabase for authentication and database services, Stripe for payments, Resend for transactional email, SerpApi for flight-search data, LiteAPI/Nuitee for hotel data and Hostinger for application hosting.
These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy practices when they provide services to TripWatch.
Retention and security
We retain account, Watch and transaction-related records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. We use access controls and server-side credentials to reduce unauthorized access, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can delete eligible Saved Watches from your account. Depending on the law that applies to you, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal information, or to object to certain processing.
For privacy requests, use the support or contact channel made available with your TripWatch account or purchase communication. We may need to verify that the request comes from the account holder.
International services and changes
Some service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live, subject to the safeguards they provide. We may update this policy as TripWatch evolves; the current version will be published on this page with its update date.
This page is an operational MVP policy and should be reviewed for the final business entity, contact details and jurisdiction before a broad public launch.
